About Karen
Karen is an EduChangeMaker and EduDisruptor promoting educational change from within the school through professional development and relevant technology integration. She has conducted teacher and leadership presentations and workshops for more than 20 years at conferences and symposiums locally and globally. She worked at Google within an emerging markets team, “Education Go Digital” and Chrome OS, globally and across Sub-Saharan Africa. She’s lectured part-time in education faculties at University of North West, University of the Witwatersrand, and University of Pretoria. She holds a Masters in Education focusing on Educational Technology, and is a PhD candidate researching Virtual Reality in Education.
